About The Event

As the season turns toward Samhain—often recognized today through Halloween—join us for a small, in-person afternoon of slowing down, making with your hands, and creating incense cones to take home.

Samhain, traditionally observed around October 31 through November 1, is associated with the close of the harvest season and the beginning of winter in Gaelic tradition. It is often held as a time of transition, remembrance, reflection, and honoring the threshold between what has been and what is coming next. We will briefly explore some of this seasonal and historical context together, then use it as a gentle invitation to work with scent, smoke, and personal intention.

During the gathering, you will craft your own handmade incense cones using a selection of herbs and resins. You can choose ingredients intuitively, work with a personal intention, or simply enjoy the tactile, creative process. The experience is designed to be calm, approachable, and meaningful—without being heavy, performative, or prescriptive.

No prior experience with incense making, ritual, Samhain, or any spiritual practice is needed.

Hi, I’m Megan, the founder of Wayfinding Ritual. I host small gatherings and work one-on-one with women who are navigating life transitions, through ritual and intentional practices so they can integrate healing into everyday life. My approach is grounded and practical using ritual as integration, not as an escape from life more of a way of meeting healing with clarity and care.
